Congratulations

(April 29, 2010) Congratulations to Dr. Yelena Prok and Dr. Edward Brash for been awarded NSF grants ($245,000 and $650,000, respectivelly). Dr. Brash's grant will fund undergraduate research at JLab, and Dr. Prok's will develop (in collaboration with the University of Virginia and Old Dominion University) experiments following an upgrade to JLab's accelerator.

(April 17, 2010) Congratulations to Noah Ryan, James Klingenberg and Tristan Delpopolo for their 2nd place on the ODU's ACM programming contest, in which there were 7 teams coming from CNU, ODU, Norfolk State and Hampton University.

(April 10, 2010) Congratulations to Dr. Lucas Lindsay for his article "Two-Dimensional Phonon Transport in Supported Graphene", which was published on the journal Science (vol 328, 9 April 2010). Dr. Lindsay's work is the result of collaboration with researchers at the University of Texas (Austin), Boston College and the Laboratoire d'Innovation pour les Technologies des Energies Nouvelles et les Nanomateriaux (Grenoble).
