International collaborations are an important part of educating students in this global economy. Currently, we have an ongoing relationship with the GSIC group at the University of Valladolid, Spain and an emerging collaboration with the Ontario Institute for Science Education (OISE), University of Toronto, Canada. In addition, the TELS Center partner at the Technion, Israel is another opportunity for student exchange. Through the recently concluded Tuple Spaces project in partnership with SRI, my students attended graduate student workshops in Summer 2005 and 2006 in Menlo Park, CA where they collaborated with Ph.D. students from research groups in the UK, Singapore, Taiwan and Chile.
