Prerequisites: PHYS 404 or
MATH 350; graduate standing within the department or permission of
instructor.
Offering:
Review of electrostatics and magnetostatics. Maxwell's
equations and time varying fields: wave propagation and polarization,
waveguides and cavities, and radiating systems. Computer programs for
the solution of problems will be emphasized.
