Congratulations to Chris Hewitt and Martin Press (2009-01-22)

Congratulations to Chris Hewitt and Martin Press, who placed second and third at the recent IEEE Hampton Roads section 2009 Student Presentation contest. Martin's paper was titled: "PALASS: Portable Application of a Location Aware Social System". Chris's paper was titled: "Preserving Wireless Audio Integrity With Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum." The PCSE Department is a host site for the 2007 Mid-Atlantic Regional Programming Contest. See pictures of the programming competition. (2007-10-27)

Christopher Newport University was again a host site for the ACM Mid-Atlantic Regional Programming Contest. CNU hosted 12 teams from across Virginia, including students from Longwood, William and Mary and the University of Richmond.
