Course Objectives:
a. Gaining factual knowledge (terminology, classifications, methods, trends)
b. Learning to apply course material (to improve thinking, problem solving, and decisions)
Homework: Homework is assigned at the end of class and then posted on my web page http://www.pcs.cnu.edu/~bbartels. Doing homework in groups is strongly encouraged and will help you learn the material better. Therefore each homework assignment that is turned-in by a group of 3-4 students will result in 1/4 point added to the final average of each student in the group.
Make-up Policy: Assignments submitted after the beginning of the class when they are due are graded on a prorated basis!!! Make-up for an examination must be requested prior to the examination and will be given at the discretion of the instructor.
Students with disabilities: If you believe you have a disability, you should make an appointment to see me to discuss your needs. In order to receive an accommodation, your disability must be on record in the Academic Advising Center, 594.8763, Administration building, Room 125
