Hotmail Frame Killer Bookmarklet
I don't like the MS frames that surround any pop-up window that comes from a link in email that I receive on my hotmail account. Also there is an annoying time limit that prevents you from seeing a link if you haven't refreshed the letter lately.
I wrote simple little hyperlink/javascript tool that sits on your Links bar (IE) and it enables you to quickly remove the outer window and ignore the stale link message.
Frame Kill
To use the link above,
- Click and Drag the Link to your an empty place on your linkbar. My IE pops a warning since it has javascript, but this isn't malicious code.
- Once you click on a link in a hotmail email, a new window will pop open with the MS frame. Click "Frame Kill" and the outer frame will go away. This also works on when you get the idle message warning.
