Introduction to Compilers
Spring 2008
Getting Sources
You should have 5-10 sources about your topic. You may rely more
heavily on some than others, but you should have at least 2 major
sources, and several minor ones.
The library is a good resource for journals, books, and printed
material.
If the major sources are books, you
do not need as many others.
If the other sources are short web pages, you need more.
Ideally, you will have more than one source that is not
a web page, though some topics are documented almost exclusively on
web pages, so that may not be possible.
You should at least go to the library and search their databases.
Locate as many sources as you can; you do not have to include all of
these in your final presentation or paper.
