The last race brought a bit of bad luck. Earlier this month at Summit Point a brake pad delaminating which caused Rob to cut across the carosel at Summit Point. We were hoping for better luck this weekend. Murphy's Law struck again in the qualifying session when a new tire blistered and some of the tread delaminated. It's probably a isolated defect. This is the first time it has happened to us. Other than that the weekend was uneventful. Tom Oates was there in his '99 Camaro. The race was between him and Rob. Tom eventually won it. Lime Rock is a short 1.5 mile track with # right turns and 1 left. This track rewards power, and the '99 Camaro has about 30 horses more than our '96. Next race Nelson Ledges.
