You can use math and science to help keep your body healthy. In Better Health you learned that it is important to exercise and maintain good health. In the Exercise Challenge, you will use the mathematical ideas of average and estimation in planning an exercise regime for Norbert and Zot on their Galactic Fitness 9000 treadmills. To get a better idea how heart rate changes with exercise, you will take, plot (using a Squeak plotter project), and analyze data on your own heart rate as you exercise.
Playing is a great way to learn. You can take apart the Squeak project and learn how it works by observing what happens when you remove or change a programming tile. It's easy to take things apart. The challenge is to learn from that process and then apply what you learned to modify the project. Have fun and explore.
