This activity has been designed to be used by students alone or guided by teachers or parents. Follow the links above depending on your mission.

The focus of this activity is for teams of students to work collaboratively to investigate the possibility of auroras on other planets. Auroras have been observed on other planets. Exploration tools in the Squeak project are waiting for the teams to discover the conditions on the other planets. Through comparison, the teams should be able to determine which other planets could have auroras.

Playing is a great way to learn. The activity is set up so you can play and observe. You can also read the web book to reinforce your exploration. Squeak allows you to challenge yourself and modify the project. Have fun and explore.
